Will you help Cleo and other pets in need?

This Giving Day, your donation will go twice as far to support pets like Cleo, a one-year-old American Staffy who, through no fault of her own, found herself down on her luck. She needed help from animal lovers just like you, and thankfully someone was there to pick her up, dust her off and give her hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Cleo was severely emaciated and hungry when she arrived at AWL, weighing in at just 18kg – about 7kg less than ideal. Her coat was patchy and she had a terrible skin condition which made her itch all over. She desperately needed someone to show her love. Luckily, animal lovers like you joined hands and gave Cleo the support she needed to overcome her past.

Sadly, Cleo’s story isn’t unique. Thousands of animals like Cleo come to AWL each year, relying on the love and care of the community to reassure them that everything will be okay. Your compassion will provide them with safety, food, shelter, training and vet care while they overcome their fears and wait to be adopted into loving families.
