Where do donations go?

Each year, we find loving homes for thousands of stray and abandoned cats, dogs, and rabbits. 

We receive no government funding, so we urgently need kind and big-hearted people like you to help the animals in our shelter. 

Your fundraising will provide food, warmth, toys, vet treatment and love for every animal in our care.  Together, we can ensure that every animal gets the second chance they deserve.

$37 will go towards shelter care for a dog or cat in need.

$60 will help to microchip and provide parasite treatment for a dog or cat

$95 can vaccinate a dog or cat who is waiting to be adopted

Your fundraising will help animals like Luna!

When you fundraise for AWL you'll be helping to  raise money for dogs like Luna  -  a sweet two year old staffy who arrived at our shelter last month.

When Luna arrived at AWL she was emaciated and malnourished - this poor dog weighed just 13kg!

It was clear to our team that something drastic needed to be done, so they immediately put her on a tailored meal plan in an effort to help her gain weight, and we are proud to say she has already made excellent progress.

But sadly, Luna's story is all too common...

We have so many dogs and cats just like Luna, who need food, shelter, training and vet care before they can be adopted. And the cost of rehabilitating animals like Luna can often be thousands of dollars!

With over 500 animals in our care right now, we need your legendary support to give them the second chance they deserve.
